HOMEMADE MAG

Homemade magazine by One Method, Tasked with crafting 6 pages under the theme “Lost & Found,” I embarked on a deep exploration of lost samples from the 60s, 70s, and 80s that have found new life in the music of today and beyond. Focused on the intersection of tradition and innovation, the magazine showcases composers utilizing traditional sampling methods, seamlessly integrating iconic analog gear like the MPC 4000 & the SP1200

For the "Homemade Magazine" case study, the process involved integrating the essence of digging for records and sampling old, obscure music into the design ethos. This was achieved through the creation of collages and the selection of images that evoke nostalgic emotions, aiming to resonate with both producers and music enthusiasts by capturing the thrill of discovering something new within the familiar realm of vintage sounds.
